Legal Clerk Assistant III

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitating services of legal documents and correspondences.
  • Filing court pleadings and other court documents.
  • Providing support in compliance and legal risk management including research, service of court documents, and dispatching letters and documents to relevant county departments.
  • Providing clerical duties that may be required by officers in the office.
  • Documenting legal matters and court diary.
  • Sorting, filing and organizing legal department registry.
  • Maintaining the department’ safes and various registers and documentation.
  • General administrative duties and other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirement for Appointment

  • Diploma from a recognized institution or its approved equivalent.
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) C — (Minus) mean grade or its equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer application skills.
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and ability to work as part of a team.
