Investment Analyst 

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Head of Research & Innovation, the role will primarily provide strategic support and analytical insights to drive informed decision-making for the business. The role holder will be responsible for research, investment analysis and provision of relevant information and recommendations on equity and fixed income investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights and recommendations. Utilize tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Monitor key financial metrics and prepare reports for review.
  • Report Generation: Create detailed reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes. Propose and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of various projects. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations to convey complex information to stakeholders.
  • Investment Research: Conduct comprehensive research on various asset classes, industries, and individual companies. Analyze financial statements, market trends, economic indicators, and other relevant data to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess the potential returns, risks, and valuation of investments. Utilize quantitative techniques and statistical analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Investment Reporting: Prepare investment reports and presentations for stakeholders. Communicate investment recommendations and performance analysis

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Knowledge/Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Investment/Finance/Business Related fields
  • Progression to CFA Qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment analysis
