Field Documentation and Digital Records Officer
The Field Documentation and Digital Records Officer will document field activities and maintain accurate, secure and well-organised physical and digital project records across all three projects.
- Document interviews, field visits, meetings, training, installations, workshops and stakeholder engagements.
- Capture approved photographs, audio recordings, videos and field notes.
- Maintain consent forms, attendance records, transcripts, activity reports and other supporting evidence.
- Organise records using consistent file names, metadata and version-control procedures.
- Upload, back up, retrieve and securely share authorised project records.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of field documentation before filing or archiving.
- Support the integration of approved research materials into relevant digital platforms and archives.
- Observe confidentiality, research ethics, data-protection, safeguarding and donor-visibility requirements.
- Bachelors degree in records management, archives, information management, communication, research or a related field.
- Experience in field documentation and electronic records management.
- Competence in photography, audio or video documentation and digital filing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Experience in Digital archiving is an added advantage
- Masters degree in the relevant area is an added advantage
