Management Trainee - General Finance

  • To provide dedicated capacity to the General Finance department for the timely completion of institution-wide fixed assets verification and stock count exercises, while supporting core finance functions, thereby safeguarding the integrity of financial statements, audit readiness and institutional accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Fixed Assets Verification - Conduct 100% verification of the institution's fixed assets in coordination with the General Finance team.
  • Stock Count Support - Support the institution-wide stock count exercise, including physical verification and reconciliation of stock records.
  • Reconciliations - Perform reconciliations of assigned financial accounts and records.
  • G-L Variance Analysis - Analyze general ledger variances and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assigned Report Preparation - Prepare finance reports as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • No prior work experience mandatory; this is an entry-level trainee role. Exposure through coursework, attachment, or internship in finance/accounting is an added advantage.

Relevant Experience 

  • Up to one years of relevant experience including internships, freelance, volunteer or academic project work. Portfolio demonstrating written and visual work required.
