Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit Children’s Hospital established in 1947. Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is the most established paediatric hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, providing healthcare to children in Kenya as well as those referred from neighbouring countries. The hospital attends to over 300,000 outpatients annually through a network of 15 facilities in and around Nairobi and admits over 9,000 patients annually at its 100-bed facility located at Muthaiga, Nairobi.

Radiographer

To continue delivering on our promise of quality healthcare for children, we are looking for an initiative-taking and dedicated Radiographer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing Radiology services as part of the multidisciplinary service delivery process leading to desired outcomes.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging Sciences.
  • Training/ hands on experience in sonography, CT or MRI will be an added advantage.
  • Licensed to practice as an imaging technologist by Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) and a member of the Society of Radiographers in Kenya (SORK).
  • Current annual practice license issued by the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience.
  • Have a touch for pediatrics.
  • Ability to work independently and to use initiative and independent judgment.
