Harley’s Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Renal Product Specialist to support its Healthcare Technologies business unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and coordinating renal product initiatives, driving the adoption of specialised kidney care solutions, including dialysis consumables, training renal healthcare professionals and ensuring the safe and effective use of products to improve patient outcomes. The role combines technical expertise, clinical support and account management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Education and Training: Educate nephrologists, nurses and dialysis technicians on the correct set-up, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of renal equipment and therapies.


Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to clinical staff by assisting with equipment maintenance, resolving technical issues and ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently.


Product Promotion and Account Management: Conduct product demonstrations, manage customer accounts, and promote the clinical and operational benefits of renal products, including dialysis consumables and life-sustaining devices, to healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams by providing real-world clinical feedback, customer insights and recommendations to support product development and commercial strategies.


Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all promotional, educational, clinical support and equipment management activities comply with applicable medical, ethical and regulatory standards, as well as company policies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Nursing or any science-related course (MBA or equivalent management qualification will be considered as an advantage).
• Over 2 years of Renal sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of the Kenya’s renal & pharmaceutical ecosystem.
• Proven sales track record with a good knowledge of the renal centers within the country.
• Clinical and product mastery of renal consumables and renal machines dynamics.
• Strategic thinking: Ability to align training initiatives.
