Manager, Faculty Information Management Services
Basic job summary:
- The job holder is responsible for training, guidance, and support to faculty members in instructional effectiveness as aligned to the university's strategic goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Training Needs Assessment and Policy Development
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify faculty training needs.
- Develop training policies and strategies.
Training Design, Implementation, and Curriculum Development
- Design and implement innovative training initiatives for faculty.
- Development and implementation of training curricula
Program Evaluation and Improvement
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend adjustments.
- Collect feedback from faculty and students on classroom sessions and workshops.
- Execute pre and post surveys to capture student learning.
- Recommend changes to improve curriculum efficacy
Instruction, Support, and Educational Technology
- Provide comprehensive instructional support and guidance to faculty on the effective use of educational technologies.
Special Projects Leadership and Promotion of Teaching Success
- Lead special teaching and learning projects.
- Lead efforts to promote and recognize teaching successes
Advancement of Teaching Practices
- Drive the advancement of teaching and learning practices.
- Mentor, coach, and collaborate to improve instructional quality and student engagement.
Academic Qualifications
- Master of Science in Education Management or in an Education related field (A PhD would be an added advantage).
- Work Experience Required
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience with 4-6 years in a supervisory role
