Business Development Executive

Job Description

  • Our client is a rapidly growing credit-only financial institution dedicated to providing flexible and customer-focused lending solutions. They are seeking ambitious and results-driven Business Development Executives to drive sales growth, on-board new clients, and expand the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Acquisition:

  •     Identify, engage, and onboard new clients for the company’s lending products.
  •     Market and promote logbook loans, asset finance, and related financial products.
  •     Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  •     Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  •     Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business.
  •     Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable loan products.
  •     Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan application and onboarding process.  

Market Research & Fieldwork:

  •     Conduct field visits, market mapping, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  •     Gather customer insights and share feedback with management to improve products and processes.

Reporting & Compliance:

  •     Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and sales activities.
  •     Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  •     Adhere to internal credit policies, compliance guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience in microfinance, credit, insurance, or similar sectors is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong self-drive, confidence, and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage field activities effectively.
