Cosmetology Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting trainers during practical lessons in cosmetology and beauty therapy.
  • Preparing training materials, tools, equipment, and products for student practical sessions.
  • Demonstrating basic cosmetology techniques to students during practical training.
  • Ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cosmetology equipment and machines.
  • Keeping inventory and records of salon products, tools, and consumable materials.
  • Reporting damaged equipment, shortages, and maintenance needs to the relevant department.
  • Assisting in departmental administrative duties when required.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the cosmetology workshop
  • Any other duty assigned

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Cosmetology/Hair dressing and Beauty Therapy or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • Basic Computer literacy skills.
  • Atleast one-year experience
