About University

The Open Christian University (OCU) is a flagship institution of Open Christian Ministries, a Christian charity headquartered in Delaware (USA) with national campuses spread across different regions of the world. Open Christian University is a tuition-free Christian university duly incorporated with the Delaware Division of Corporations as an exempt non-profit corporation legally authorized to operate under the laws of the United States of America. The university, with its affiliate campuses, Bible colleges, and support centres, is chartered to offer religious programs aimed at integrating the Christian faith into business and professional affairs.

About the call for applications

The Open Christian University needs to improve its symbols and design Alma matter song(Hymn, or anthem). Therefore, it calls on interested and capable consultants from all over the world to submit their interests in the following categories (i.e. deliverables).

Deliverables

Category 1:

1. University’s anthem instrumental with English lyrics ( duration: 2 minutes-3minutes). The song can be performed ‘100% live’ and easily translated into many languages spoken around the world.
2. University’s anthem English lyrics/words.
3. University’s anthem sheet music.
4. University motto + description.

Category 2:

1. University colors artwork + Description
2. University Seal artwork   + Description
3. University Mace artwork + Description

Category 3:

1. Academic regalia artworks(for certificate, diploma, bachelor, master, doctorate, postdoctorate programs, and for faculty members)+description

Eligible applicants

• Individual Christian artists, including students over 18 years ( solo, artists, band representatives, DJs, etc.) based around the world.
• At least two high-resolution promotional videos with lyrics made in the previous works.
• At least two colors, seals, and university mace artworks done in previous works would be an asset.
• At least two academic regalia artworks were designed in the past.

Remuneration/awards

This is a voluntary assignment with no monetary remuneration. However, the university has opted to recognize the winner with one of the university’s best honorary awards. This will be an honorary doctorate degree in humanities. Three winners will be given awards (Category 1: award for anthem and motto, Category 2: award for university colors, seal and mace, and Category 3: University’s academic regalia).

2. Send audio/video, and lyrics links to your website and social media, or send samples of your previous works.
3. Submit your education qualifications (copies of diplomas, degrees, transcripts, or certificates). Student ID if you are a student.

Selection process

Application deadline: 23 September 2022

• Eligible applications will be reviewed by the university’s Board
• Any complete applications will be considered.
• Late applications will not be considered
• Only applications submitted via the dedicated application address will be considered.
• The high likelihood of winning the next steps will depend on the individual having contextualized all the information on the university’s website into their respective work/assignment. Please link here
